Don't worry the government said. Then when they saw what was a happening they shut down the detectors while we were all dusted with radioactive particulate. It was so bad in San Diego you could smell it in the air. Your nose, throat and tongue all felt like they had some sort of chemical film on them. There was a metalic taste in your mouth for days as the heavy clouds passed over from the Reactor Three explosion. Then farms up and down the west coast and Canada reported that their milk was radioactive. The EPA just told them to dilute it with milk that was not so radioactive so it would meet the standards for consumption, so school children all over the west were drinking radioactive milk. Did the government warn you? Hell no!
